I personally can't stand comic book villians. In my eyes they are stupid and childish and never get **** done right. Not saying thatFF villlians arent childish sometimes but god, the JOKER?! :lol: Comic books have mediocre storys. Paper thin in fact. At least Final Fantasy (well not the first few) has a decent story with decent charaters that you can understand most of the time.

I agree, but I can think of several RPG's that came out around the same time as the first few FF's that have much, much better stories. The first two Phantasy Star games for example. Phantasy Star II has one of the best storylines ever.

FFVII was my first FF, and after playing all the other FF's, I still like Sephiroth. I just like how he turned dark and twisted after discovering the truth, and Iwas interested to find out what he was up to next. He also summoned a huge meteor to severely damage the planet, and yes, I know, those two certain villians whose names start with K and end with A actually DID destroy a planet, butSephiroth was still able to cause fear around the world using meteor, and that'sa good job for a villian, in my opinion. I also liked fighting him by the end of the game. He's near the top of my favorite villian list, along with Kefka and Kuja.

Yes, those fanboys are annoying. I like Sephy and Cloud, too, but I don't go saying "OMG, Sephy and Cloud are teh best! This is what makes all the other FF's the suckzors!" all the timeor whatever the hell the blabber about.

I honestly like Sephiroth's plan. With the history of the Lifestream and the Cetra he was able to take that in order to formulate a unique idea. Sephiroth pretty much learned the truth about Jenova, the Cetra, and their knowledge. He took what the Ancients knew while he had been in the Lifestream and used it to make a attempt in becoming a God. If Sephiroth succeed I am not sure what would happen in his recreation of Gaia. He'd probably create fanboys and girls.
