Eh. Just the fact that I get to play a new game. Nothing particularly exciting. I'm upset that there's no MP in this game though. It's like trying to use everyone's abilities is gonna be like trying to use one of Cyan's Bishudos.
I think it's tight that they are bringing back the job system after a long hiatus. At least it resembles the job system anyway. I also think its really awesome that the leveling style is like the sphere grid from FFX! somehow FFX made leveling up fun with the sphere grid so I'm totally stoked that FFXIII seems to be taking all the best elements and combining them all.
Me personally, i'm looking forward to the story and Battle System. From what i have seen, it looks brilliant. What i don't like, from what i've heard is the side quests not showing up till very late on in the game. For me, the side quests are an important factor for any RPG nevermind a Final Fantasy game. But overall i'm excited about the game and look forward to getting my hands on it. Not long of a wait now.
Now that I've gotten to kind of know the characters, see some cutscenes, and seen the ending (guess that kind of goes under the 'seen the cutscenes' part) I'm not all that excited about it anymore. Since it was released in Japan about two months ago, it almost seems old to me. . .
I'm excited about a new Final Fantasy game in general, but this one really has me amped.

The fact that they streamlined the game and took out a bunch of JRPG mainstays may irritate some people, but I'm definitely excited about it. New battle system looks amazing, cutscenes look amazing, music sounds amazing... I'm just pumped in general. :)

Oh you never view the ending cutscene before playing the game first. Always ruins everything. But you may find its different playing than watching. Anyways, i really dont want to tempt myself into watching any other cutscenes than the few ive already watched. I'd rather not spoil the game and story for myself. Even though Square-Enix took theyr time releasing it.

Ditto from me! The more I see the more excited I get. Everything looks awesome, especially the gameplay. Love the battle music too, could listen to it all day long.
Not the same excitement when I learned the release of FF8, FF9 and FF10. The excitement in FF13 has died in me few years ago... I became so tired of the delays.
Its another final fantasy but the first on the 3rd generation consoles ( i think ) and i just cant wait for the epic music and the hd cut scenes and the story and the weapons and the battles and oh i could on and on :)

Quick someone get the guy a fan, i think he may pass out with his heated excitement. I have to agree with FG. Final Fantasy XIII has lost its great hype through the lengthy wait. I'm definately excited that its out next month and i will be trying to get my hands on it but i think most of the real excitement is gone. Most people are just anxious to see if its going to be worth the wait.

That was... KINDA to the point. Anything particular that sparks your curiousity making you alittle excited about it except for its i Final Fantasy game? Not saying its not a good enough answer because your spot on when it comes to excitement levels when a new Final Fantasy game is announced. People go crazy lol.
