Tifa vs. The Boss: Who is the better fighter?

Tifa (FF7) has mastered her martial arts, and can even use "The Final Heaven". Her battle with Loz is my favorite battle scene in Advent Children, and she showed thre that no man is hard enough for a deadly lady.

The Boss (MGS3), on the other hand, has mastered the CQC... Has beaten Naked Snake several times. Even Volgin never tried to conforont her.

What's your opinion?

FFVII is my favourite game and out of my top ten characters u cn pretty much guarantee, you'll get 5 or 6 FFVII characters but cum on, Tifa...The Boss.....

Not really fair is it, even with magic it wud be impossible, it wud take too long and tifa would be finnished long before a limit break...The Boss would win...

This comparison is a whole lot better as opposed to the Gray Fox and Sephiroth scenario. I would have to go with The Boss on this one. I don't want to make the arguement technical but I think it is a easier decision. The Boss in my opinion appeals as a renowned character(, and she always has something up her sleeve. Even though Tifa has come into her own as a hero in the Jenova Wars, I still think she has much to learn. Tifa is still talented, but still young. I'd also make a note of this; Tifa isn't stronger then Rosso the Crimson from Dirge of Cerberus.

When we talked about Sephiroth and Gray Fox battling all I saw is Sephiroth using some attack to cut a robotic soldier in half(like some mechanical ShinRa unit). But when we talk about Tifa and The Boss it's different. I bet she could throw it down regardless of who's world she existed in.

mfouad seems to spam alot, anyways I like AC so most likely Tifa, sure Boss was pretty tight But she'd kick Tifa's ass realistically but in the FF world, I smell ownage. 8)KingOfCrunks

Alot of ranting, But I dont know what Im talking about. You obviously seem 'old' Lol, Anyways. I could careless about the fight scenes, its a non-realistic game movie type thing man, chill. Atleast they made a movie, Even though Kojima made MGS 4 seem movie wise. Still I loved that they made a game into a movie, all I was really looking forward to was hearing and seeing main characters, and kinda the fights.KingOfCrunks

No it doesn't, though the fights in CC were better than those in AC. They slowe them down a bit, and that helped with the choreography

Want a prime example of what I mean by good choreography? Watch the Devilman vs Demonbird AMV and hte movie Equilibrium. Those 2 have tons of it.

*HUGE SPOILERS FOR METAL GEAR SOLID 3*

The boss pretended to defect to the Soviet Union to join Volgins camp so she could get her hands on the Legacy. It was a top secret mission. Zero and everyone else involved with Snakes mission did not know about it and she had to keep it that way. That is why, when Snake saw her defecting, she fought him. For some reason, Volgin decided to nuke his own country. Given that the Soviet Union saw the plane that Snake dropped in on in Soviet airspace in the vicinity of the explosion, the Soviets put two and two together. They came to the conclusion that the U.S. had ordered a nuclear strike against them. Gorbachev didn't want to loose the U.S. partnership in a number of things, so he decided to give them time to prove their innocence. the U.S. knew that there was no way that Gorbachev would believe that one of the Soviet Union's own did the bombing, so they went another route. Place the blame on The Boss. She defected, so she cut her ties with the U.S. As a direct result of that, the U.S. could not be linked to the explosion. The Soviets would be made to believe that The Boss did it all on her own. The Boss understood that as soon as volgin launched hte nuke. She knew she would have to die for her country, and she did. The saddest part is that she wound up going in U.S. history as a traitor and in the Soviet Union hitory as a terrorist. In a sense, Volgin killed the Boss. Snake did not.
