Vote for Tifa!

Hopefully y'all won't view this as spam, but at www.gamefaqs.com they're doing the character battle thing and its Tifa vs. Samus Aran.  Now, nothing against Samus, but come on lets show our support people!

Oh My. It's 16092 votes (50.03) for Samus and 16075 (49.97) for tifa right now. help her. if you dont know her. check her.

Better than Mega Man thats for sure.  Mega Man may have some good games, but Snake is clearly superior.

Anyway, Snake won and Crono is currently beating Sonic (Which I certainly have no problem with since I haven't liked those games since the old days).  Heh, it'll be interesting I guess.

I like how you say he isn't but you give no reasons.  If makes your opinion so easy to refute.

Fact 1:  Snake, while perhaps not exactly the same Snake we all know and love, is about as old a character as Mega Man.

Fact 2:  Mega Man games have not been good for a while now, and tended to be a bit spotty in their even back when they were going good.  Metal Gear Solid games are consistantly good.

Fact 3:  Snake is a cooler character than Mega Man, and definitely has a better voice. (Yes, this is fact)

Fact 4:  This is Mega Man, not Mega Man X, the two are quite different characters.  It might be up for some debate if it was X (Though Snake would ultimately win).

Fact 5:  I love that we are having a debate that is totally not about Final Fantasy.

Sonic came back and beat Crono, so it certainly was interesting. Also today's result makes it look like it was Tifa that was being strong, and not Samus being weak as Samus is currently beating Zelda with ease.Kefkamania05

Samus is cool, but I still think Tifa is better.  I'm definitely glad she beat Zelda though, I thought the Link association might've bolstered Zelda to a win.

The problem with Samus is that, based on Metroid Prime, which is the most recent Metroid I've played, I can't rightly vote for her over Solid Snake.  Also, I wouldn't feel right with Samus being the first female to win since I've never seen her as an incredibly prominent gaming figure. 

That and I'd really like to see someone besides Nintendo and Square win.
