[QUOTE="TrueReligion_"]Square Enix is one of the dumbest companies. They will never take advantage of Chrono Triggerjohndoh4They re-released it on the PS1, what more do you want. That version had terrible slowdown, loading times, screwed up sounds and music, and even the new anime sequences were coded wrong. What people want is for them to make a 3rd Chrono game, or at the very least give Chrono Trigger the same treatment that the classic FF games got for handhelds. And new non-interactive cutscenes aren't worth it-- new dungeons are.

The loading times while longer than they should have been, were manageable if you played it on a PS2. Also, what do you mean by non-interactive cutscenes? There eye-candy, there there for you to watch and thats it. The only thing wrong with the cutscenes was the inclusion of the Japanese cutscenes in the GH version of the game (which excluded the english subtitles). If you had the original version, your're fine. As for the sound, its not going to sound exactly the same coming out of the PS because of the different hardware, and storage medium; you should know that.

They re-released it on the PS1, what more do you want.johndoh4As they did with the re-hashed FFs. Why in the hell shouldn't there be another Chrono Trigger remake? Heck, I loved Chrono Cross. I'm sicked and tired of pubescent soft-core porn FFs. I want a game with substance. I wouldn't mind seeing TWELVE CT/CC remakes.

Honestly, I'd rather see "Secret of Mana" make another appearance before "Chrono Trigger", but thats not to say Chrono isn't worth it. The difference is that they already release Chrono Trigger for the PS1, it can be found with ease, and its compatable all the way up to the PS3, so its really not all that unavailable.
I agree with the guy a few posts back who said SquareEnix should stop doing FF games for a bit and go back to some of thier other series. Mana needs another quality go, as sword of mana (gba) and Legend of Mana (psi) were barely shadows of "secret of mana".....and "Vagrant Story" really needs a second installment.
