FFVI Advance is awesome, but I played it via...um...er...you know, that e-word. The emu-word. But it's awesome. Â Â Â The graphics look a bit worse on the GBA than the SNES, though...but it's still fun. And Kefka's evil. And crazy. And has the awesomest laugh and the awesomest theme. Ever.
Get Final Fantasy VI Advance. It's one of the best Final Fantasies. Final Fantasy III (DS) isn't all that great. I think I was expecting too much from the game since I've played so many great Final Fantasies. The review here on GS is generous.

I agree, I own FFIII and I haven't even played it that much.... the story sucks and the gameplay is kind of outdated.
I have FFIII, and its alright. The main reason it was so cool was because it was never released in the United States before. FFVI is probably better, so get it.
I like FFIII a lot more than FFVI but I just like old skool RPGs. If FFVI was first released today nobody would criticize it for having a bad story and outdated gameplay. It's just like every other FF game from the last 10 years, only in 2D. That's not the case with FFIII. It's a very simple RPG with almost non-existent story. Job system is pretty good though. So it all just depends on what you're looking for.
I never played FFVI before and I bought it for my DS , I already love the game it's reallygood. I've also heard FFIII is a hard game so I passed on it.
Played every game in the the series, Definitly FFVI wins... best story, best characters. Cept, they changed alot of the script from the older version, nothing to big, but they might have cut a few serious & funny parts out.

I agree, I own FFIII and I haven't even played it that much.... the story sucks and the gameplay is kind of outdated. Glad someone agrees with me lol. The thing about the story is there has to be a story for it to suck, right? :P
