There are still games coming out for the GameCube. The release schedules for both the GameCube and the Xbox are rather barren, but there are some games on the horizon. TMNT and Radio Allergy are coming on March 20, with a few more games after that.

The Gamecube is discontinued, not dead. Big difference. True dat. People are still buying and playing games for the 'Cube (people are still buying 'Cubes for goodness sake!) and as long as that's happening there will be a need for this tab. I mean within a reasonable time frame anyway. Five years from now when we're all anxiously awaiting the release of the Wii 2 there will be something wrong with the world if this tab still existed. But for now, and for a quite a bit longer, this tab is still needed. Besides, if we get rid of it where are we going to discuss Gamecube games? System Wars? General Games Discussion? No way. Too many haters.
Why? People still play Gamecube, people are still buying it, and people are still discussing it. Plus, even if they're games that most people wouldn't talk about here, there ARE some new games still being made for it. I doubt the Gamecube tab will be removed for a few years anyway... the N64 and PS1 tabs weren't taken down until about 2003-2004. Believe it or not, some people like to buy cheap systems after they've been discontinued and pick up games then, since they don't have the $$ to buy things brand new.
I'm locking this, since it belongs in Site Enhancements, not the Gamecube board.
