Dude a gamecube board is not the place to ask this and no you shouldn't so like go to a PS3 board and they'll all say hell no.
A couple weeks ago, I was debating between a PS3 and and Xbox 360.......then decided on a Gamecube. Picked up one on Ebay along with 5 games, extra controller, memory card, etc for about $90. I've really enjoyed it. Just decided I ddin't want to spend upwards of $1,000 by the time you buy all the accessories and games. I think you can get a heck of alot of entertainment out of the Cube without hardly any financial outlay.
I'd say go for the Cube games. Comes back to the PS3 when the price drops $300.
get a wii or 360 , if you dont have one
btw
WHY THE HELL DID YOU EVEN WASE YOUR MONEY ON A PS3 IN THE FIRST PLACE??????????????
If you traded in your PS3 for Gamecube games you could probably get the entire GC library of worthwhile games.
If you dislike your PS3 that much then go for it. If you think you would end up buying a PS3 later on again, then you would just be throwing away money.
why the hell would you want a 360 it's crap except for it's online and the 2006's are much better then the xbox 360 (which is 2005) also Ps3 and wii are innovative but the PS3 is 2 in 1 innovative and hand control.

DAMN NO how hevently swords or lair will run on a gamecube???labatbleu
this is what i hate about next gen, its all about what console runs the best games not which games are the best, or more enjoyable. i think the funs gone. maybe ill trade my ps3 in for a nes and a classic gameboy and just live a quiet life denying games have advanced any further then that. it will be ignarent bliss.
Oh hell no. Dont listen to these fanboys, if you ask stuff like this on a Nintendo board they are going to rag on anything Sony related.
This would be one of the dumbest mistakes ever. To sell a PS3 for GCN games? What? Most GCN games are cheap enough so that you can keep your PS3 and continue to buy games for it.
Last the PS3 has the games coming, you watch. Pretty soon you will want to be playing things on it. But if you sell it you will have to rebuy it when something like Assassian's Creed, Heavenly Sword, Star Wars Force Unleashed, Lair, etc. Online games and all that. If you dont want it, might as well give it to me. Oh most important of all GTA 4 and Gran Turismo 5.
Besides the GCN is not supported anymore and you will be playing old games that are not online and there is no future in that.
id say no. yeah the ps3 doesnt have much now, but you siad yourself theres nothing for the wii. i have a wii myslef, and its mostly to play gc games bc i never had one. there are so many lastgen games i need to cath up on that haveing a next gen console isnt too smart for me, but now that i have the wii i def will pick up games for it as well.
what im getting to is, when mgs4, socom, kingdom hearts, heavenly sword, god of war III, GTA4 DMC 4, i can go on..... come out, youll want a ps3. besides, you wont be playing 400 dollars of games at once, sbuy them one at a time to pass your time until more good wii and ps3 games come out.
Your selling a PS3 for some gamecube games? Makes no sense to me and your basically giving your PS3 away for free with that deal. Its your choice though so do whatever will make you feel better at the end of the day.;(). Look most of us are goona tell you to keep the PS3, which you should do, besides you can get just about any gamecube game you are interested in off of ebay for under $25 in many auctions.
I have a Wii, and have spent most of my time playing Gamecube games on it since buying it. Some of them are fantastic and hugely underrated-Eternal Darkness, Killer 7, Smash Bros, Wind Waker, Baiten Kaitos, the list goes on. There are some absolutely brilliant games on the Cube.
BUT like somebody said, they are so cheap now that you can just buy one at a time for 20 bucks, play through it, then sell it when you are done and get another. You dont need to sell the PS3 to do this. Selling the PS3 seems foolish, and something that you would probably regret.
