*signs* in my quest for games/stuff that i passed up, today i just bought the Game Boy Player from my local gamestop (aside from bashing rants) for $20.00 minus $$ from 3 trade-ins and 5 bucks = $11.24 grand total Despite the disc being a little scratched (which if i wanted to get a replacement disc from nintendo, i can) and cleaning the exess crap off the player, i love it! Its better than paying - i dunno, $75.00, $90.00, $125.00 (yikes) i have a DSlite, i like the ability to play GBA game on my GC
I have a Game Boy Player, came as a package with my Gamecube. I don't think I ever removed it from my Gamecube since. Although I only use it when I don't have any batteries in my Gameboy Advance (which is often considering now that I have a DS Lite).
*signs* I got one last year because I had a bunch of GBC games I wanted to play, but of course, they don't work on the DS... And I didn't use my DS much anyway. It was kinda hard going back to a dark screen (on the GBA/GBC), and it just seemed silly to play games on such a small screen when I'm home, so I just bought a GBP. Also got a licensed Hori GameBoy Player Controller with it.
