My favorite is THPS 4, but "THUG" & "THUG 2" are still brilliant games though. In my opinion the series went downhill after THUG 2, as they introduced too many gimmicks in Underground 1 & 2 like driving ridiculous vehicles, throwing projectiles at people and there was way too many totally unrealistic moves. All this built up to make THAW (which was awful) I mean come on! You could get off your board to do backflips/frontlips and even run up walls!! It all just wasn't necessary in a game supposed to be based on skateboarding! One thing they always seem to get right, is the games music soundtracks & the games level design (levels like "Alcatraz", "College", "School 2" or "Boston" are classics). I lost interest in the series after THUG2 and thats why I never bothered playing THP8 or THDJ.
