The NES. Super NES was soooooooo much better. But the N64 was even better than that! Then there was Gamecube......
Virtual Boy. It's hardly portable, so I think it counts as a console.Nintendogamer33

N64 by far. You can't even name 50 good games.leaguer1
Actually, you can't name 50 good games for many consoles, but the ratio of good/crap for the N64 is the second highest in video gaming history at 1/3. The only better console was the Dreamcast with a ratio of 3/8. This is probably due to the fact that gaming fads (3D platformers, Cell Shading) was easier to sell to gamers back then, and that sparked developers to spend more time working on game material without wasting it on superior graphics.
In case you're wondering, statistically the GBA is the worst Nintendo console ever, with an underwhelming 1/30 good/crap ratio because of the ease of product placing (Hannah Montana comes to mind) and ability to reproduce ports of Super Nintendo games that lack any additions at all. Personally I would vote for the Game Boy Pocket, which I would own if not for the fact that by the time I saved up enough for one Nintendo announced the Game Boy Color for sale for like $70. One of the first and worst ways that gaming companies have undermined their own efforts by selling a superior product.

I agreed the N64 is the black sheep in the nintendo family, the only good games were Mario 64,Donkey Kong 64 and GoldenEye 007.

I agree there. I love all consoles being the collector I am, but this one was just sad to me.
Well I have never played the Virtua Boy so I have no idea how bad it is. Out of the systems I have played, I'd pick the GameCube, but I think the Wii will be even worse.jakedogg14
i have never played Virtua Boy either but i would have to say that the worst nintendo console is the Wii. Sure its winning the console war right now but i think people will get tired of its kind of gameplay. For me i dont think the the motion control is good for rpg games, so i give it a thumbs down.

Nice, but where did you get these statistics?
My vote goes for the Virtual Boy, the only console that makes you want to rip your eyes off.Â

I absolutely agree. Considering it was Nintendo's worst console, it sure had alot of earth shattering games. Too bad there were 10 of those and the rest were all crap.
I've actually found about 50 good games. The thing about older consoles is they don't have as many games as the newer ones. So in that respect, it is hard to find a good game. But trust me, they are out there.
