Why did you get your GC?

Wanted to play games at a nice affordable price. Smash Bros and Agent Under Fire were my first 2 games. Started to drum up a collection of 72 GC games and still looking for more. Liked everything about it from the graphics to the controller.

Tired of the PC and the price were the reasons for me.

EB Games had a sale where you got the Cube, extra controller and choice of two games for something like $150.00 and that's what sold me.

For the games, I picked Knockout Kings and Tiger Woods 2003.

I'm probably one of the only people who bought the Gamecube because Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee was in it's library. lol

That was the ONLY deciding factor in me getting it.

I got it because either X-box was to expensive or not out and I had a PS2 at my dads.

The first game i got with it was Super Smash Bros. Melle... Good times.

The Gamecube was my first home Nintendo console, the main reason I got it, was it was really cheap second hand in Gamestation, a few years ago and I wanted to play a Zelda game, so I got Wind Waker with it the collector's ed, second hand too. Also got Mario Kart: Double Dash as well.

Since then I got a n64 second hand, also got a Wii, but never played it, so I just cash it in. But I still have my wonderful Gamecube.

For my birthday I wanted to play Super Smash Bros. Melee, so my dad bought me a GC...

5 years have passed since...

Super Mario Sunshine, SSBM and Zelda.

Although it was untouched in comparison to my xbox, wasn't a bad system at all.

2. Resident Evil series
3. Few Nintendo exclusives.

i bought it because of all the nintendo games i havent got to play

the main reasons were zelda ww, ssbm, mario sunshine

I got mine about a month ago for 50 buks from EB. I bough it with an 8mb mem card and zelda TP. I hav an xbox, so I just realsied that I've been missing out on my favourite franchise all this time (my favourite game of ALL TIME is LOZ OOT) I'm getting wind waker soon, and I'm also looking at getting super smash bro melee, rogue leader and RE4. my brother wants coloseum.

I really like the Cube, even though it's old at the moment. I REALLY like the controller, the console itself, the set up. and the graphics are good. it has better graphics than PS2. Some games such as RE4 are up to par with xbox. it's a great system, and it's still alive in my books. I willmight evendo the same with wii, once it's old if they bring out a new zelda.

So in a nutchell, I bought the GC out of loyalty to nintendo, and because it has some great sequels to my favourite N64 games.

P.S ZELDA IS THE BEST!!!

i was abt uhh.. 9 wen i got my cube at the nintendo launch. my rents knew nintendo was rite 2 go since i already owned a cube n since my siis already owned a ps2 i got the cube. they didnt wanna risk their money wif xbox n im glad they didnt.sanim02

wats wrong with an xbox? I've had mine for 5 years, I've never had ANY trouble, and there are sum great exclusives.
