Why did you get your GC?

oh ya and I got it mainly becusae of SSBM. Played it a friends houseand im like "im getting a gc"

My reason was because I knew that Nintendo was an awesome company and I was getting tired of Nitendo 64. Now I really miss 64 xD

Well I had most of the consoles out there.. (heh, remember Amiga? Atari? Commodore?) ..andIcantell,NintendoConsoleswheretheoneswiththeminimalproblemfactor.

They'resolid,cheap,andofferedsomegreatgames,thatotherconsolesdidnot, so I thought GC will be the same, whichreally is.

Why? Because I heard that there was going to be a sequel to Zelda Ocarina Of Time back in 2002-2003.

Turns out there was a new zelda but it took 3+ years to make and was released by the end of the Gamecube's generation. I'm glad I got a gamecube though I had way more fun with my Gamecube then my Xbox or PS2. The Gamecube had 'Fun games' while the other consoles had select titles that I would be fun to play.

Some of my Favs were... Resident Evil 4, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime 1 & 2, Harvest Moon, Twilight Princess, The Mario Parties, Smash Bros Melee, Need For Speed Underground, Tales Of Symphonia, and Fire Emblem Path of Radiance.

kinda grew up with nintendo 64...:D
