I'm proud of myself. Heh I didn't get 100% completion only about 64% or something but I beat it! At first i had a hard time getting into it but I had fun and forced myself to endure the atmosphere of the game. But later on it just became so cool and then I beat it! Anyone else have some trouble getting into it at first or at all?

P.S. Gonna pick up Metroid Prime 2 when I get the chance. Find it used. How hard is it?

I was not even interested in this game when it came out cuz I'm not a huge fan of FPS. Then I saw it was real cheap at GameStop so I bought it and was instantly hooked. Probably one of the best games the Cube had to offer. I didn't get 100% but it felt so good when I finally beat the final bosses because they were so bleeping hard. MP2 is also great but not as good as this one; I thought it was a little easier. Congrats on beating Metroid Prime!!

I beat it a few months ago... I felt so proud of myself, since I didn't use strategy guides or anything.

I've beaten it 4 times (100% 2 times), and I loved it as soon as I popped it in my GC. My first GC game, and it's still one of my best.

Nice, the second one is hardest than the first and it isn't as good as it but it is an astonishing game anyway.

I recently, and finally, got around to beating Prime, myself. I got a Cube the first of the year, so I was finally able to pick it up and enjoy it.

It was one hell of a game, too.. easily one of the best FPS games I've ever played; if not THE best.

The action, atmosphere, how the story unfolds, graphics, gameplay.. it all came together to be one awesome title and one of the best and most successful transitions from 2D to 3D for a series, I thought.

Yeah it took me some time to get into it at first, I had to restart it, but managed to do pretty well.

I've decided to continue playing Metroid Prime again. I thought I was stuck, but it seems it was obvious where I had to go.

I've completed it twice I think, one time 100%. I loved it from start to finish. Echoes I didn't like as much but it was still very impressive. Haven't done that 100% though.

Your story sounds the same as mine, needless to say that when I first played MP2 I understood properly how to play it and finished with 96% on the first play through.

I think alot of people have trouble getting into it at first. Truthfully, its quite different than anything they've played before, so its different from their expectations.

However, so many times I've read that people went through the game the 2nd time and absolutely loved it, to the point where it becomes an all-time favorite to them.

When it comes down to it, the game is an absolute Masterpiece, it may not be apparent at first, but when it does, you understand where I'm coming from. At that point you are ready for Echoes.

I feel sorry for those who give up this game too quickly and sell it for a paltry penny, when all is said, the 2002 GS Game of the Year will stand the test of time, and be considered an all-time great, while lesser games will be much more dated.
