Zelda game-ending glitch?

Ok, I'm at the part where you have to go to the sacred grove the second time, this time with the chicken. I get to the part with the rotating bridge and I target the windmill on top with the boomerang. EXCEPT THE BRIDGE DOESN'T MOVE!!! I'm sure I targeted it correctly, it had the yellow triangles and all, but for some reason boomerang has no effect on the bridge. IS this another game-ending glitch?

Hmmm I'm not sure I done it on the Wii version and it worked fine, don't think there's a glitch, try highlighting it and when it turns red throw it.

Are you "auto-targeting"? Because sometimes the game requires you to auto-target some stuff, and as such manually targeting  might not get the job done (I don't remember if this is an accuracy issue or just scripted like that).

That´weird didn´t happen to me, maybe you´re not doing it correclty or something.

Agreed... try different ways of selecting it until it works.

You can highlight the target (yellow arrows), but try locking on instead (red arrows). See if that works.

 I didn't play it on the Wii, but it never happened to me as a glitch :?

Maybe these other posters are correct:
