I usually read so many reviews/ watch videos of a game that I have not regreted many purchases.
The one purchase I would take back is Kirby Canvas curse on the DS. I found the game boring and way to short. There was not any replay value for me.
When I was about 10 years old I remember buying a playstation game called Fade To Black. For the most part I get my money's worth out of games but after playing that for about 20 minutes I said forget it and it sat for about 7 years before it dissapeared.

I have that game. I gave up right in the prison cell in the beginning. I am missing disc two but i still have disc one.Â
The Scorpion King was pretty terrible too. I also did not like Manhunt, Radiata Stories, and RPG Maker II.Â
Dark Cloud for ps2. The story was pretty much non-existant. After about ten hours the gameplay felt more like a chore. The town building part was neat but aside from that I found it to be a boring dungeon crawler. I've heard that Dark Cloud 2 is much better but . . . . . . . . meh.dark_orb
Yeah, my feelings exactly.
syphon filter was a total let down since playing metal gear solid that granted you a excellent experience.
i say vagrant story disappointed me a lot, nothing to say in graphical and sound fields, however i found too much complex character management with inventory and endless customizations. it can be considered a dungeon rpg has some platform aspects, kind of moving crates to reach impossible heights. i am not in rpg affairs much.
Every Mario Party after 4. 2 was great, 3 was incredible, 4 brought the game to the Gamecube. Everything else was the same thing over and over again.
And the ID Software Pack on Steam when it was on sale for $35. I mean, it has all the Dooms and all the Quakes (minus 4 and QW), but it also had the Heretic and Wolfenstein series, the former of which is boring, the latter outdated.

project gotham racing 1, nhl2k5, Splinter cell.  and a few others........ not that many though. Sometimes you think a game will be good, spend the $20 or something, then its old after an hour. Thats why i rent games before I buy them usually.
Final Fantasy 12 I thought it would be similar to final fantasy 10 and I bought this like 2 days after it came out for 60 bucks
Xenosaga 1 and 2 I beat one and after that I was like "wow I wasted a lot of time" and I bought 2 froma friend and never played it
Rise of the Kasai It was good for the first few levels
I hate to say it but God of War I thought it was good for a little bit then grew very bored and tired of it
Spawn Armageddon or w/e super dumb game no storyline at all really and no challenge
Crashbandicoot Twinsanity

Fooled by the awesome title, 12 year old me was amazed by this game. What were those controls all about? And maybe I just sucked at the game, but were the new mechs impossible to unlock or what?
