A Capcom producer said that with enough fan support we could get a remake of RE2. The count my vote for a remake. Anybody else interested?

A friend of mine suggested that the fact that they mentioned it could mean they probably started already. That would be great. But it certainly is a long way away. Its merely being discussed right now.

That would be great, but hopefully its more in the style of the originals like REmake, or with a secondary option to play with the RE4 style camera.
If the remake of it will be similar to Resident Evil remake for gamecube, meaning they focus on the horror aspect and amplify it while sticking to the same gameplay formula of the original game, then I'm all for it.TreflisYeah, this is what I'm hoping for. I just don't want them to use a current RE engine.
They should start working on a remake of Resident Evil 6 insteadBlack_Knight_00
Lol, good one. It would suit me well enough if they just canned RE6 and focused on this instead.
Yeah, it's never going to happen. Capcom has clearly demonstrated over the past several years that they have no intention of giving fans what they really want, especially when it comes to RE games. If they were actually going to do this, they would have probably done it during the Gamecube era when hoards of people wanted this to happen after the first RE was remade (and beautifully I might ad). Back then Capcom occassionally listened to theri fans and they still didn't make it, what makes you think today's nickle and dime you, disc locked content, overpriced DLC Capcome is going to do it. They've been ignoring the Mega Man Legends 3 movement for years, this game has no chance of seeing the light of day.
