Specifically, they're looking into having you subscribe in order to play user-generated songs on GH:WT's GH Tunes. Seeing how he's compared it to a possible feasible alternative to iTunes, I think he seriously overestimates the service. Like, a lot.
I believe the thread title should be "Activision wants you to never buy their games again.":P That is where I stand with them any way. They have out EA'd EA with the way they strap any of their successful franchises into a milking machine until the franchise is dead.
Activision is every day going out of its way to prove yet again that it's the worst scum of a publisher on the planet right now. And that's no easy feat.
Activision deserves death just for screwing over ps2 owners with Spidey web of shadows. Activision does tony hawk series to right? That has been ruined like hell also. I really hated them back in the NES/SNES era, then they did pretty good in ps1 and ps2 era, but lately......"hey lets run ourselves into the ground guys wont that be fun!!???" di di di.
stop selling us things..... user created things should be free no matter what. whats up with companies trying to screw their comsummers? EA spore DRM, this, many other things i can't think of.
What a load of crap. I have to pay for songs that other people make and upload? Whats the point of that? Imagine the outrage if something like LittleBigPlanet had pay to play or subscription requirments. Its ridiculous and unecessarily greedy.
