I am sure this has been said before on this thread, but Gamespot is losing a lot of their "talent." By talent I mean the people that caused you to watch reviews and tune in for shows like "On The Spot" or "The Hotspot." The people that make those shows worth watching are slowly leaving. There are still a few left who I enjoy watching, but I wonder if they won't also leave for whatever reason.
In all reality I whether or not Gamespot loses all it's talent won't matter because CNET is a much larger company and Gamespot is only asmall piece of the whole. The one thing I don't understand though is I see Gamespot come under fire a lot for everything that has happened, but CNET (who is responsible for the whole "debacle") doesn't seem to be getting their fair share of the negative publicity. It is their credibility as a whole that should be questioned not just Gamespot, but every site and every piece of "journalism" they run.
Personally I am going to stick around and see if Gamespot can turn itself around. It is definitely a long hard road to gain back the trust that they have lost over the past several weeks; but maybe over time they will be able to get it back. However, if Gerstman (sorry if I spelled it wrong) does something on his own or with others I will probably go there and check it out. If it is that good I might not need Gamespot anymore. I don't just come to Gamespot for raw information and opinions about things, I come here to be entertained; and recently they are losing their entertainment value to me.
Like I said I am sure that has all been posted before on this thread, but just wanted to voice my opinion none the less.
