Am I the only one that didn't care much for Kingdom Hearts?

I got the game over a couple of years ago..but recently played it about a few months ago. This is the original game by the way. I really lost interest where you have to hunt capture the gorillias or something like that..I don't know..maybe I played it too late in its life but honestly I think the game is way over rated. I just simply lost interest and haven't played it in about 4-5 months I think.

I played it for an hour and a half and got the feeling that I was forcing myself to play it instead of enjoying it.

I didn't like it either.

The fact that disney was in it... when I saw the commercial with daffy duck I was like WTF?

I like it but thing Keeping it From Being one of my favourites is The gummi ship mini games

I wasn't a fan of a few of the Disney World Sections, but the original Kingdom Hearts story parts were brilliant.

I just hated how they added disney characters

I attempted to play it once, and I couldn't get over how looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong the beginning was. The introduction goes on forever, and just when you think that it's over and you're ready to actually start the real game, the introduction starts right back up again with all that cheesy "Don't be afraid" nonsense!

I played through till about your first trip to the collosium. I just got tired of hacking and slashing my way through countless black blobs with very few combat option other than button-mashing the hell out of your sword button. Not only that, but then every time there was a load time, there was more random monsters to fight. You could enter a building, and exit again and guess what? RESPAWNS!! It just got very old very quickly.

probably not the only one. Just like all games, some like it and some don't. The first and second games are some of my favorite ever.

I've rented it before and played it for a few hours, but I never got that into it.

I liked the original Kingdom Hearts actually. It wasn't the deepest RPG, but the game's bosses were quite fun (and several of them were quite challenging) and several of the enemies were quite fun to fight as well (such as the Wight Knights in Halloween Town- one of the harder hitting enemies in the game overall unless you over-level yourself).

It's Kingdom Hearts 2 I didn't care for as much as many people do...

It lost most of what made the original so enjoyable for me- it had no challenge whatsoever (making the bosses boring), none of the bosses were really interesting to fight, and Sora was turned into an annoying brat (Replacing Kairi as the 'annoying main character'... Never thought Sora and Kairi would switch roles being annoyingon me like that...)

I really enjoyed the 1st game, the boss fights were simply epic at times and loads of fun. I grew up loving Disney movies as a kid, so it didn't bother me. The sequel disappointed me, it was way too much flash and not enough substance. The gameplay is way too easy in the sequel.
