The NPD group is the most trustworthy source of sales-figures, but even those guys aren't completely on the up and up since they don't get Walmart figures. If you want to get figures directly from them you need to be *connected*8)
GameFront.de lists the NPD (American) numbers for the past few months and the Japanese charts for the previous week. There are also cumulative tracking sites that are rather controversial such as VGChartz and NexGenWars
