Any chance of Catwoman being playable in Arkham knight?

I loved playing as her in Arkham City. She was so agile in her fighting style and it made her a lot of fun to play. I think I read somewhere that we will only play as Batman in the main story, and if that's true then I'm hoping they will include her in some kind of DLC. What do you think?

Not sure, I would say that the mixing it up slightly between two characters (or rather taking a break from being Batman, in a Batman game) is one I quite liked, but I would hope it was not catwoman, mostly due to the characters in that universe. They could well have picked something else, perhaps one of the bad Guys in a sidestory running along the main story?

But I certainly would'nt complain if they simply took catwoman in Again to mix it up a bit.

That could be interesting but since all of the bad guys are pretty much psychopathic murderers that would mean you would have to murder and that would probably earn them a Mature rating, and since the last two games have a T rating I don't think they will do something like that.

Harley Quinn is a playable character as a pre order bonus every online store. While some ex-Robin character is exclusive to gamestop. Not to say there couldn't be other characters playable in future dlc.

Oh yeah I forgot about her. I wonder if they are going to let us kill with her or what. Maybe we'll just be bonking cops on the head with her giant mallet.

that one is harley-quin iirc, but maybe they will include future dlcs in the disc either since they usually are ready before release

While it was nice to have some additional content in City with the Catwoman missions, I also found them to be the least interesting part of the game and they mostly broke up the flow. Catwoman's abilities weren't nearly as cool as playing as Batman and even her epilogue mission was kind of pointless. I wouldn't mind them implementing more playable characters in the next one, but I would prefer that if they do it they make it a bit more interesting.

she was more fun to play then batman i thought also, especially in combat. moving the around in the city was faster with batman though. they should make a game with just her in it.

The Catwoman DLC for Arkham City was only playable if you bought the game new or shelled out $10 or something to buy it as if it were an online pass. It was a BS deal since I rented the game and the "DLC" seemed like a pretty big part of the story, or at least the game since you couldn't even collect all the crap without Catwoman...

Doubtful. Harley Quinn and Red Hood (IIRC) are the feature characters this time around.

I personally like that they are adding new characters, but I wish they would keep the old ones. Nightwing from Arkham City was the best, but all he was in was challenge rooms. I wish they could build the story so that you could play as any of the characters, rather than just Batman. That would improve replayability to an extreme degree.

The Catwoman DLC wasn't integral to the story (it was a side-story), nor was it necessary to 100% the game (Batman and Catwoman had separate completion sections in the percentage tracker).

a batman game that lets you flit between multiple playable characters with their own overlapping stories, à la gtav, could be very cool
