Any games similar to The Godfather (2006) and The Godfather 2 (2009)?

I really enjoyed these two games. To give some context, I'm 54 years old and blind in one eye--the 'vanquish 500 enemies in three seconds or lose' games do not work for me. I found Godfather and G2 relatively easy to play despite challenges, and I was able to beat the games, which was satisfactory. Does anyone know any open-world games similar to these two? I'm looking into Mafia I and Mafia II at the moment. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Get Mafia 1 (on PC)

It's better than all of the other GF and Mafia games. Especially the story & characters.

Mafia 1 is great but it is pretty relentless in the shooting department (not to mention that goddamn race), but it's always on sale for a dollar, so it's worth a try. Mafia 2 is much more manageable: regenerating health and plenty of ammo.

I would also recommend LA Noire: 1950s detective drama with a top story and the shooting is infrequent and not any hard.

Be advised that none of the above feature the business aspect that the Godfather games are built around. If you are looking for that, Scarface The World is Yours might be the right choice, unfortunately it's currently not being sold on any PC store, so you would have to seek out alternative ways to play it.

If not there is always the GTA, Saints Row or Red Dead Redemption series. The shooting is incredibly easy in all of those by design.

Scarface is what people recommends when people asking about similar game to Godfather. Godfather 1 was such a good game personally and tied in the story of The Godfather perfectly. Loved smacking people till they surrender their business to us.
