2014 seems empty for all systems to me. Doesn't help when the games I am interested in (Arkham Knight) get delayed to 2015.
That's a pretty good list. Have it saved in case I forget to watch for something as the year goes on. Bought a few of the ones on that list on the cheap during the steam sale, including Grim Dawn for 50% off. Wasteland 2 is at the top of my Steam wishlist, but only because there's currently no listing for Torment or Pillars of Eternity yet.
Looking forward to breaking into Divinity tomorrow, finally. I played a bit of the alpha way back, but didn't want to spoil it too much waiting for the full release. Also recently finished Ether One and Betrayer from that list, both games I'm really glad to have played. Ether One is something that's going to be much more significant to you if you've actually had to care for someone with dementia.
Betrayer...it's been a long time since I actually stopped to reflect on the plot of a horror game after finishing it...since Silent Hill, really, and there's so much in Betrayer's artistic choices that is reminiscent of the early SH games. Loved it, particularly the way it just unceremoniously drops you into its world and says "figure me out!" Kinda brings to mind what it would have been like to visit those early american settlements like Roanoke that just up and disappeared.
Plague Inc. Evolved. Basically an enhanced version of the mobile game. Still in early access according to Steam.
Civilization: Beyond Earth is probably the biggest PC game releasing this year.
Divinity: Original Sin just came out of Early Access. It's apparently really good.
Elite: Dangerous, Dreamfall Chapters: Book One, Wasteland 2 and Pillars of Eternity off the top of my head round up the bigger anticipated PC releases. Im sure there are a few games I am missing.
Personally, I've stopped looking 'forward' to game release dates. Simply because I rarely buy on launch and my favourite PC games released in the past years or so were ones that I never initially anticipated - most being a surprise-sleeper hits.
Actually, Last game I bought on launch was probably Age Of Wonders 3, which was released earlier this year as a PC game.
