Anyone ever play any of these?

Well, I went to my local video store today to find something that I haven't played, something that might be "under the radar". Well, at least to me. So it was down to Fracture, Afro Samurai, and Rise of the Argonauts. I thought it over a little bit in the store looking back and forth at all 3 games, and I got Rise of the Argonauts. I haven't played it yet cuz as soon as got home I read some reviews of all of them, and all3 got 5-7 scores, so far it seems like any one of them would do. I'm just wondering what some thoughts on these 3 games are. I'll be back in a little while with my 1st impression of RotA. Any feedback will be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

type the title where it says 'search' at the top of the page, click reviews, then click player reviews.. then you'll be able to read reviews from gamers that have played the three titles your contemplating at the moment.

At least, they've played them in theory, and aren't just reviewing some game they've never played for some insipid reason.

Fracture, Afro Samurai and Rise of the Argonauts. Talk about scrapping the bottom of the barrel. Here is an idea: save your money for something better.

Yeah, I know. I'm in this deal at my local video store, pay a flat fee and rent unlimited all month long, so I didn't really pay for it. I gotta take RofA back cuz it's got some deep scratches in it. It froze at 69% during it's install, so I'll take it back and rent a movie instead. It stinks cuz I'm tired of playing what I have, and I don't have any $ at the moment to buy anything, well, until tomorrow, then I'm getting a couple of games off of PSN.

Afro Samurai got decent reviews, I believe. Rise of the Argonauts had some good moments from what I heard, but there were some not so good aspects as well. Personally, I would read over the reviews from GS and see if any of the issues they present would really bother you as much as it did them.

Anything with an average score of 6 or more is worth investigating. Perhaps rent or borrow from a friend. Whether you choose to buy it though is relevent to your own first impressions.

I would stick to my favourite one's instead of searching for something better.
