Anyone getting Black Ops 3 ?

The game is getting a lot of hate right now and that is perfectly understandable knowing that more than 80% of the community doesnt like futuristic games , including me . To me that game is going to be Advanced Warfare + even more bs by the name of specialist class and wallruning . I heard that one of the specialist classes will have the ability to TELEPORT back to where he was 5 seconds ago on the map pretty much escaping a gun fight the most bs possible way + the other specialist classes also have some bs special abilities too . I know many people would say "well everyone can use them so it is not a big deal " but if you take a deeper look at it , you can easily say that futuristic games will in the competitive sphere will never succeed . First of all having played all CoDs except the last 2 , I call myself a veteran , what that means is , I no longer play CoD just to have fun . The more you play a game , after some time the fun factor that comes from you just playing that games , regardless of score disappears and the only way to have fun is to shit on other players and this is my case . Well in a futuristic game , it doesnt really matter how much experiance you have there is a lot higher chance for you to get killed . Flying , it doesnt matter if its exo or whatever they have in BO3 is a very stupid idea for a first person shooter game because it increase unpredictability by huge amount and if the maps , like the ones in AW are specifically made for boost jumps , it turns the game into a noob friendly fest , where everyone can boost jump all over the place and have a significant chance of catching someone off guard by jumping 15 feet in the air behind someone on a balcony . That is not the only problem though , "special powers" increase gun fight time . Lets say you know for sure there are 3 people in front of you and you know their locations . Your plan is to kill them as fast as possible before they meet eachother and gang bang you . You start shooting the first one , thinking that it will only take a second but all of sudden he jump boosts . Most peoples initial instinct would be to either jump boost as well or try following him with their aim as fast as they can . In both cases that increases time to kill and even gives a chance for the other guy to KILL you even though you caught him off guard and shot first . By the time you kill em, the other two guys see you and team up on you .

This is why i cant stand any futuristic games or any special abilities in any online game . I would like to know how many people are actually buying BO3 ?

Absolutely. The trailer looks awesome and I love the CoD games.

I started with cod4 and mw2 was the pinnacle of the series. Ever since infinity ward broke up the series went to shit. Black op 2 was ok but no where on par with earlier entries. Ghosts was just flat out horrible and andvanced warfare looked just as bad. I put close to 4000 hours of playtime into cod. I'm officially done with the series.

Of course I will be getting COD BO3 ! What kinda question is that ? Not only I'm getting it, I have already preorder it and to take it further down the road, I'm waiting for some sort of special/collectors edition, plus also waiting for some DLC available at e-bay ( sort of day zero edition content ).

As much as I don't like the new trailer, I'll need to some more of the game before I make a decision. Though I'll probably end up getting it anyway, I need something to play splitscreen with.

The hate is mainly because of the continued futuristc theme! They should have done something historical

No, seem to be getting bored of COD franchise. Can only play so many Michael Bay games before I burn out on the same formula. Also doesn't help it's another futuristic one, not a historical one.

The last good COD game was MW2. They all suck now. Every time a developer releases yearly installments of game it goes down hill fast. That's why all Assassin's creed games suck from Black Flag on.

I'm thinking about it. The only reason I'm considering it is because it's one of the few games that provide a fun split screen experience and I play with my brother frequently. But in all honesty, I'm literally sick of Zombies, the way they look and the sounds they make lol... Just tired of it. And with the franchise as well... it just feels like updated textures/skins. I was thinking of spending the money on Ghosts (which I haven't played yet... mainly because I was tired of COD at that time) and play Extinction which seems like a breath of fresh air, and it wll be cheaper. I don't know if I'll wait and pick it up on Craigslist for $40. Because that's another thing, you pay $60 for a game stripped of (zombie) maps just to have them sell them to you one by one in separate DLCs which also has me tired as well. We'll see.

I might buy if I could get just the MP at a lower cost. I don't want an awful and filler SP mode that I wont even play.

I hope not that many people are buying, I just dropped 60 bucks on BO2 like 3 months ago and played it for the first time. I'm praying that the game retains its popularity because not only do I want to get money's worth, BO2 is an AMAZING game
