Eh, I didn't like it. The controls were finnicky and the graphics mediocre. I have other complaints, but I don't remember them :P.

I hated the vacuum cleaner/bowling pin...thing final boss at the end. I made it to the end as a kid, and I could NEVER BEAT HIM!!! I HATE YOU, FINAL BOSS THING!!!

was that the oreo monster?? i'm afraid i never owned the game, and didn't play the sequel. i played maybe up to the second to last level on the first one.
i didn't actually like mario 64 that much when i was 14. i preferred the prettier-looking banjo-kazooie, and i guess chameleon twist was more linear and easier to control than mario.
