I've heard that Arma and Arma 2 are the closest thing to realistic when it comes to fps. Is that true? Anyone played it? If so, what do you think of it?

Yep they are. But if you want a realistic FPS that still has that online fps feel to it. Then I recommend Red Orchestra.

They're ultra-realistic, unmatched when it comes to FPSs. That being said, they're not for everyone. If you've played other sims before, then you will have an idea how comprehensive they are.

I used to play the old game, Black Hawk Down, and I liked how you had to gauge distance to target (like a real rifle) and adjust your sights to compensate for the bullet dropping. In most games I see now, you don't have time for that because the maps are too small and too much like a sandbox. (COD) Not a true snipers map. In BHD, you had to run for minutes at a time to get to a good positon in the hills on the outskirts of a map but worth it. Plenty of time to plug anyone approaching you. If there was a game similar with dirtbikes that you could ride to a distant location to save time that would be excellent I think. Arma offer anything like that? I heard the maps were huge. Almost forgot, how's the graphics and are there alot of people still playing it?
