So a guy from new york: http://www.techhive.com/article/2027180/former-atari-ceo-bids-to-save-his-old-gaming-company-from-bankruptcy.html Has spend his money in an effort to save the company form its doom. With games already being dilisted from places like XBL, and well, the fact they eclared bankruptcy, everyone thought they may have died. Well, they are fine for now. Just how long is the question? Now if only this commitment was made with THQ....

Well as a New Yorker myself, and someone who was introduced to video gaming via the 2600, I suppose this is good news even if Atari as it stands right now is little more than a name.
