Here lately I have been going back and playing games that are few years older now, some are really old.Been playing the game room and playing games like missle command, pitfall, food fight, etc and I have had more fun playing these then most games lately because of a few things....Old games like this actually took skill and you actually felt good if you got a high score, most games these days have scores for no reason.Another reason is the community isn't as trash like it is with like COD fans....I can't tell you how many times I have to mute people because they are trash talking, or playing stupid loud music.

I guess what Im trying to say is that Im having more fun playing casual games here lately then playing competitve games online, do you all ever go back and play the classics when your tired of this gen?

I do that often actually. I sometimes wonder if I'm in the minority but I've long harbored the idea that spicing it up with some retro is really a great way to get the most of out modern games/ gaming. I keep my PS2 and Sega DreamCast around just to sample a simpler time a bit before returning to today's AAA titles. It really makes clear where have games have evolved for the better and where things have degenerated.

I was playing Final Fantasy XII on the PS2 not long ago. I've also got several arcade collections with old favorites like Defender and Robotron. I really need to collect an emerald and jump through a hoop in Sonic the Hedgehog to unlock Zaxxon on the Sega Megadrive Collection, as that was a huge favorite of mine too.

One of these days I need to pick up a few older current gen games like Wet and Fracture, and play through TimeShift again.

I never play online. Hanging out at the online equivalent of an elementary school playground is the last thing in the world I want to do with my leisure time.

Nope, there's actually only a few retro games I'd consider playing every once and awhile but other than those 5-8 titles, retro games were pretty bad.

I grew up on old PC shooters and platformers. So yeah, every now and then I'll dabble in Wolf 3D, Doom 1 and 2, Commander Keen, God of Thunder, Duke Nukem 1 and 2, Cosmos Cosmic Adventures, and various other games.

It's good fun sometimes, just revisiting old games like that.
