best ps2 game ever?

Well I could just say RE4 cause its on the system but I dont consider it to be a PS2 game, i still relate it to the GC. So MGS3 for me.

The one thing I got bored of was the fighting, it got repetitive but each enemy had a way to be taken down quickly if you knew what you were doing. Otherwise, I though it was brilliant. Swinging around never got old, the presentation was stellar,and it just had this great glow and magical feeling to it which puts it up there with ICO and SotC.

I thought that the battles were awesome, but inbetween the battles were akward

Took me like 3 years to finally pick up/buy Shadow of the colossus,first hour of playing that game I regretted not picking it up the day it came out,such a gorgeous game.
