Bionic Commando (NES) remake???

I just read this on EGM September:

"Capcom Goes Commando

Lately it seems publisher Capcom is diggin through its closet of hits. It already announced a remixed version of Super Street Fighter II for both Xbox Live arcade and Playstation Network, but that's not the only game getting redone. You might remember I teased a remake of the NES classic Bionic Commando for the PSN a while back. Well, that'd be cool, but wouldn't it be better if it-oh, I don't know-got a full tune-up on consoles? Yeah, now wouldn't that be just fab..."

This was wrote the rumor guy- Quartermann, who seems to have some good hunchs frequently.

I'd definitly love some sort of remake that game was one of my favorites on the NES

Oh. I thought you had new info on a remake, but you tricked me by quoting last month's issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly.

A BC remake would could be awesome, but that is just some rumor guy saying the same thing...duxup

I believe in that same issue, he stated a rumor of DQ4-6 remakes.....

no there were no sequels wich always seemed strange to me since even today it's acknowledged as one of the best games of the nes.

Let's just cross our fingers...

People forget that there was a sequel to the game (well half sequel/ half remake) on the Gameboy Color. Great game too. One of the 5 best games released on the GBC. That game alone is all the arguement you need as to why GB games should be available on the VC.Robio_basic
