I have found a pretty sweet deal on a local internet site. 450canadian for xbox 360 and 6 games and 3 controllers. Pretty good for me because I was just about to pay 500 for a console and one game.
The seller said it comes with the original receipt and packaging, and still under warranty. I just want to know if there is anything I should look out for when purchasing a video game console from somebody else. Thanks!
Is off a reputable site, such as Ebay, Amazon or something else? Is it from an internet vendor? Or are you just checking craigslist and some dude is fishing you in to buy a defunct 360?
I'm not sure I'd go for that deal unless you knew more about it or the seller.
i would not buy it unless, as semi said, its from a reputable place. something that is a known site like ebay or amazon which offers protection to the buyer.

Which is why I buy all my stuff new from somewhere like EB or Best Buy, and if I ever buy used, even from EB/Gamestop, I invest in the 20 dollar warranty plan.
People sometimes trade in their defunct machines when their friends are working or something to get the most money back. Beware of what you do.
The problem is if it is modded, you can't go online with it. However, if they are selling multiple games and controllers with it, it seems more legit (as opposed to just offloading the console with one controller)
