Computer has good specs but fps is very low help!

Operating System: Window 10 Home 64 bit

CPU: Intel Core i7 4771 @ 3.50GHZ

RAM:8.00GB single - channel DDR3

Motherboard: ASUSTek COMPUTER INC. H81M-K

Graphics Card: Geforce GTX 760

Monitor LG IPS FULLHD

Storage: 1TB TOSHIBA DTO1ACA100

I have had the computer for about 2 years and I recently found out my fps is not where it should be, im not sure when this started help!

you have a 760 which is a good card, however there are a few games it won't reach 60fps at 1080p.

@Andrew_is_basic: for example i bought arma 3 recently and can only run around 15 fps even on the lowest settings

@thehig1: @thehig1:I also tried play league of legend today and only get 80 fps when not in combat and 40 fps when in combat

is your graphics card driver up to date?

Try disabling Intel's integrated GPU using your bios. I've read of people having problems with games using the wrong GPU...

Yeah, the first thing to check is drivers. I would also check GPU temp, 70 C is ok, 90 and above is not.

Go inside your PC. Im betting you have a crap load of dust inside.

If you do, clean EVERYTHING. It lowered the temp of my entire PC and increased my FPS by like 20.

Accroding to specs, TS has a pretty new rig to get dusted so fast, unless he has a very furry cat :) But yes, it`s a very good thing to check.
