Console for Mortal Kombat?

I want to buy a console just to be able to play the latest Mortal Kombat game- damn you Netherrealm for not porting it to the PC :( - and i don't know which one.

Did any of you play both versions? Is it the same for xbox and ps3 ?

Which version has better graphics?

I just got the PS3 version, but I do have an XBOX and chose the PS3 version mostly for the Kratos addition on the PS3 side. With the new DLC, I'm glad I got it when I did!

I'd reccomend the PS3 version just because the controller lends its self to a fighting game much better.
