Could someone please tell me what AI means??

hellow... I have being playing videogames since i`m a lil kid. But i tend no to learn the terms very well. (I learnd no to long ago was RTS was :oops: and it is my fav genre :lol: )

Anyway.. I`m reading some review about a couple of games and they keep comparing the AI or Al :? "terrible Al", "good Al"

Could someone explain to me what are they refering to with this??

A.I. is: artificial Intelligence

It is used to describe how the enemies or computer controlled allies think and behave.

Its AI not Al
There computers or bot players or what ever you want to call them. You know players that are not humans.

oh.... ok.. so this would be bad just in one player mode. :D i`m getting the game for multiplayer, so that would not affect the experience, right??

Is call of duty 4 (ps3) and meddal of honor 2 (Wii), just in case that help. If AI is bad in the last one, this is not a big deal. Al just affect single play...right?
