The Witcher 3. The world feels so much more alive and the side quests really add so much to the game. But what can I say, I still haven't even beaten it yet.
Both games are good.
But I'd play DA:I first if you have any interest in it, has a fair share of issues, but mostly enjoyable with a involving structure and just feels complete in terms of typical RPG mechanics (Crafting, loot, lore, classes, exploration, even dungeons). The Witcher 3 blows it out of the water in terms of atmosphere, combat and quest design to the point where playing The Witcher 3 will probably spoil you, making about any RPG you play afterwards (sans souls games) feel lackluster.
Also, there's alot of content and patches rolling in the Witcher 3 with good post release support and planned content, so it's like fine wine if you wait a little.
Like the guy above said ... The witcher 3 is so good it'll make other "Great" games pale in comparison .. but still ... you should still get it
Sadly haven't played the Witcher 3 yet, wasn't sure if I could sit through that many hours if their combat was the same as 2, but Dragon Age Inquisition is really good,(so far at least only played 5ish hours) especially if you've played the first 2
I only saw a small segment of Dragon Age on YouTube, and it didn't look all that interesting to me for whatever reason. However, The Witcher 3 has been pretty cool so far, and I'm only past the part where you first see the emperor in Vizima.
I much prefer The Witcher 3 over DAI. There is more content, free DLC, and you get to explore such a unique open world.
