Dead Rising Series

So I played the Dead Rising 1 demo waaaaaaaaaaay back and thought it was kinda cool but seemed like it might get old fast.

I got Dead Rising 2 a couple years after that , and got bored with it very quickly.

I'm considering getting DR 3 since it's on sale now . The fact that it's set in a city and you can drive around made it seem a bit more appealing but because of my feelings about 1 and 2 I'm pretty skeptical about it.

So should i buy it and give it a try? Any input would be appreciated.

I say this because i personally believe that the series got worse after every new game. I loved the first game and is probably one of my favorite of all time. I had too push really hard to beat the second game. I played about 4 hours of the third game and had to stop. And there's a reason no one ever talks about the 4th game. The series just got more and more repetitive after every entry. Same shit different weapons.

Keeping each game in perspective and one can find enjoyment in each. The only issue I have is how DLC for part three and four had annoying bugs.
