Are there genres of video games, which were born to 2D gameplay mechanics lateral and vertical platforms such as arcade, shoot em'up, beat em'up, run-and-gun, and fight 1 Vs 1?. _ Conversely, every genre of arcade video games, it can take mechanical or 2D game development, other mechanical 3D, if your programmers and designers know that things must change, to adapt to mechanical 2D to 3D other?. Do mechanical 2D video games, lateral and vertical, are less playable 3D mechanics, to be lateral and vertical views, more limited, and that this type of fixed screens do not allow much showmanship and depth displacement being video games horizotal and vertical mechanical past. Therefore, arcade video games have given way to gameplay, 3D?. _ Virtual Reality, will be the future of video games, in the sense that this will be predominantly or finally being able to like in The Matrix, Tron, Total Recall (Total Recall), animated series as ODS and play and receive imputs directly into the mind, in which case any other interface will be obsolete, as some fans and blogs?. In the future, new video games designed only in 1st and 3rd person, and isometric perspective with 3D gameplay, as seen in games like Batman Arkahan City. Not being designed thereafter, new video games, from 2D horizontal and vertical development? Some speak of the beat'em up antigüos like Double Dragon, Final Fight, Captain Commando, Cadillac & Dinosaurs, you can move freely in all directions despite being 2D, the only thing that betrays pseudo3D gameplay is the fact that you can not hit in another direction than the lateral. Some use mechanical techniques to facilitate the work of drawing and digital painting, as Shin Koihime Mosou Arcade edition, a fighting game Entretainment Rain, _the former RCI_, based on the number of Baseon, and Phanthom 5PB Breakers. But the work seems to be long and costly, for HD resolutions of 1080p. Now they are coming to market, TV sets or 4K resolution 4000P (Sony), and 8000P or 8K in detail (Sharp). Do you continue designing new video game sprites or 2D bitmaps, drawn and animated by hand, or with mechanical assistance and digital painting, HD 4000 and 8000P resolutions in detail? Will we get to see big differences, respect to a current sprite graphics or bitmaps HD, 1080p, or come up with something similar to what we saw with the color palettes, that apart from the 32-bit consoles were growing in size, presenting an increasing number of colors. Coming to a point where we do not notice big changes from previous paddle smaller, with fewer colors?

Defender was originally a 2-D space combat game and then they came out with a 3D version on the PS2.  It was pretty good actually.Â
