so, I was playing 3D Dot Game Heroes, and I'm just about to go to the boss at the end of the second temple AND BAM freeze.
Do you? and how often? what games?
I'm going to go attempt to re-do the second temple.....

Versing people online in FIFA 11 that lag. The smarter ones then zig zag.. Zig-zag plus lag is a sure way to tick me off. I've been playing AC: Brotherhood online lately & If it wasn't for the fact that I'm trying to get the last few online achievements I would have stopped playing. I love AC, but the multiplayer is some of the most rage inducing stuff I've ever encountered.
What I'm talking about:
I don't even get mad anymore. A part of me just dies instead. I don't turn the game off because I need the points to get the max level achievement, but I can't wait to be done with it. Hopefully AC: Revelations fixes a heap of things with the multiplayer, but I doubt it. Too bad, because the multiplayer has a lot of potential which is brought down by a few design issues & a load of mouth breathers.
The only game I've EVER rage quit is Final Fantasy VII, once at the chocob breeding thing (I did it 89 times [reset] and everytime I got a blue male, not a female *-*), then the second time was trying to get down the last dungeon before I had to leave on vacation and I swear I had tonberry bait covered on me >.>
Me too!! Though they say it's because I am bad .:(I don't, but the two guys i play FPS's with do all the time, pisses me off

I rage quit in FPS multiplayer games only, and only under one condition: I'm with an utterly abysmal team. I don't particularly care if a few people are doing bad or what not, not everyone can be this amazing player, but I hate team killers and people that don't try to help during team based games.
I was playing Bad Company 2 the other day and a friendly medic killed me, revived me, killed me again, revived, and so on. That was rage quit worthy.
I do from time to time in multiplayer. I don't remember the last time I rage quit in single player, that's pretty rare for me. The large majority of the time I rage quit in MP is a result of bad team mates. For example, getting destroyed in conquest on BFBC2 because half my team wants to stand away from the flags and snipe up on some hills...
Very rarely, but it happens. In Star Wars The Force Unleashed, I didn't really care for that game at all, and when you got to one of the final boss fights it got so repetitive and seemed to depend as much on luck as skill. I think that got exited and turned off without worrying about any "quit" procedures

i rage quit on mvc3, when i'm playing someone who does nothing but stand on the other side of the screen and throw projectiles at me, i just say forget it and quit.
Rage quit? No. I'll quit if someones cheating but its not out of rage. I'd just rather play a fair game than waste my time trying to beat some loser who thinks hes cool because he can glitch. Or if I'm playing Magic and my opponent starts doing unnecessary things and drags the game out when they've clearly won I'll quit and find a new game. They still get the win, but I'm not going to sit there while they generate 20 new attackers, one at a time, when I have nothing to block with.
Recently I have because I'm trying to get the last two medals in the Batman Arkham Asylum combat challenges. They are so tricky...
then I see somebody do this. It takes 50,000 points to triple medal this challenge (I manage to get around 42,000 consistantly)and this guy gets 202,490 points! Puts me to shame
One guy on Xbox live called me some nasty names for beating him at a game of Uno... I do sometimes, but not as often as I did back when I was younger. One time while playing Uno....

I rarely ever rage quit in multiplayer games. One reason for that it is the fact most games I play require the match to be complete before receiving any experience or similar article of value, but I also don't rage quit because I really look down on people who rage quit, and that keeps me from doing it myself. As far as single player titles go it's the same thing, since I tend to focus and play better when I'm frustrated in a section, and it's much better just to get it done than to stop playing and dread having to go back to it.
Yeah it's not as bad as when I was younger though. I went through alot of controllers that's for sure lol. I still have rage quits every once in awhile, sometimes my own fault and sometimes not my fault at all.
If im playing an MP match in a game and I have bad connection and lag that causes me to lose I ragequit. But if my own lack of skill is causing death I usually just bare it.
The last game I shut down out of frustration was Gothic 2 for the PC. It's by far the most I've died in a WRPG.
Rarely rage quit. Usually stick it out through most things, despite getting severely pissed off at times. Can't be too good on the health, mind.
I did rage quite a couple of days ago. Fifa 11, playing as Juventus I'd hit the post a couple of times, had over 60% possession and completely dominated the game - I just couldn't score. In the dying minutes the other guy makes a counter attack, sends in a cross to the penalty area which deflects off one of my own players and goes into my net. Needless to say I was narked off.
Other than those sorts of moments I won't rage quit unless I'm experiencing massive lag.
I've had that happen to me with New Super Mario Bros. Wii. >_>
World 4+is just ridiculous.
