i just wish i could go back in time to kill the a**holes who created him or even thought that this is cool before they were born so i wont see this sh*t

I'll give him a chance just because I hated DMC 4 so much.

There's nothing "Twilight" about that redesign. It's clearly inspired by an English-punk rock aesthetic.

I don't love the new look but all of this talk of Dante as an "emo" or "goth" kid seems pretty hypocritical given the nature of his original design. Dante's wardrobe as seen in all four previous games would suggest he frequents Hot Topic on a regular basis.

He was lame then and he is lame now...except before his "cool" was anime inspired and now its sorta punk inspired.

DMC3 Dante was the "young" and "brash" Dante. This is just horrible design, that spits in the faces of all the fans. It would be like taking Mario, replacing his blue overalls and red shirt with khaki pants and a plaid shirt, removing his moustache and giving him 5-o-clock shadow, and making him a French electrician instead of an Italian plumber.

Dante is/was iconic, even if for only one and a bit generations. Trying to change his look now is just going to upset a lot of people.

I haven't been into the Devil May Cry xeries much, but I went and I took a look at his new look to see what all the fuss was about. I have to say that I am not fond of his new look. I prefer the original look of Dante.

I don't hate it, but I think he looks dumb.

Ive never been a DMC fan but I know who Dante is and how he looked before, and I quite liked the character to be honest, not my type of game, but one I could see was good.

The DMC name is for me tied to the Dante of old, and when I saw the new design, I thought it was some sort of joke.

They really shouldnt "reboot" game series, it never really turns out well (cant remember the last time it did) Especially when one of said series driving forces is the main character.

Will it be a good game? heck if I know. Will it be a DMC game? Nope I doubt it.

I don't hate it, its just disappointing they changed his look, he looks like hes starving. If they needed to change his looks for whatever reason I would think that they could do better than this.

1st of all I want to see what changed in the game and then I'll judge who I like more by the skills they have..

Before I started playing I heard a lot of : "AW, it's an awesome game!! You should try it!!" and Of course the graphics were nice and so was the story and everything, but I just didn't like the fighting.. it didn't feel right ! So if this "new" Dante has something better to show that I'm looking forwart to it!!

Especially at the part that he says "you bastard what did you do to him" Or "if you like him so much you should have sex with the developer" I loled. But the best part was when he said "he looks like a twillight reject"
