I am not possesive so I dont mind lending out games but my friends and family will find out if I am getting the game to know weather or not they will be getting it. Its almost like I pay the money and they get all the benefits. Like for example I practically have a waiting list for when I finish rainbow 6 vegas 2 and GTA 4.

I used to. I hate awkward conversations though, and that's usually what happens when I do. I will either be like I say "hey are you done with that game I let you borrow?", then my friend will be like "oh sorry, yeah no problem..." Then we just stare at each other and it is really awkward.

Or vice a versa, my friends would be like "Hey, if you want your game back you can have it." Then I would say something like "uhhh....sure if you are done." Then once again we stare at each other and around the room. :P

Not really. And you shouldn't because you violate the EULA IIRC.

I actually try to lend games out to people that I know I can trust. Unfortunately, most people don't seem to want to do it, which sucks. I don't know, I think it's a good idea, that way you can play more games without having to buy or rent them.

I rarely do, but when I do I'm always sorry. I have a tough time getting games back. Even some I never got back and never talk to those people again.

I always have more games around the place than I can play, but even so I seldom lend out games, with the exception of a couple of friends/co-workers.

No, not really, I don't like to. I guess I'm kinda too sensitive about my own stuff.
Though, I did give my PS2 + All games to my brother.

Yes, but only to friends, and I dont have any problem getting them back because if Im ready to get it back I just go get it whether they are finished with it or not.

I done that with God of War 2 with my cousin, I let him borrow it and then went and got it back about 3 weeks later and he was about half way through with it and still wanted to play it. So I just look at it like he had an extended demo of the game and enjoyed it so now he can go and buy it if he wants to.

Also, if I get it back and it even has the slightest scratch on it, then I basically scratch them off of my friends who I let borrow games list.

No. I'm way too materialistic and too distrusting of people to do something like that.

I don't what's your problem is about asking for the game back. If they had my game for too long I would just slap them on the back of the head. And if they broke it I would just go to there house and steal there stuff.

As for me I just lend my games to close friends for I can slap them on the back of the head.

Sometimes I will, sometimes I won't. I really depends on the person im lending them to and which games it is. I mean some people will sit on their a** with my game for several years because theyre to lazy to give them back and me being to lazy to get it whenever im over at their house. Some games I haven't seen in like 4/5 years like James Bond: Nightfire and my precious GTA: Vice City. With Vice City I actually had to buy a new copy because the dude that had the game moved and Nightfire for the PS2 just sucked.

I also regulary exchange games with my friends. I even give the bad ones away ( yes, Star Trek: Legacy and Master of Orion 3 I'm looking at you). The thing is me and my friends are, with the exception of Counterstrike and Starcraft, totally into different genres so we rarely get the same games.

I totally wouldn't since I've had stuff come back scratched or broken, or even... like I haven't gotten some PC games back that were lent a few years back.

But I think I'd try a fee or something... for games that I wouldn't really mind lending out, such as my WII stuff, and old GC stuff.

My Imports though, NO WAY.

I have no issue with lending my games out, spread the love I say.  Plus most of the people I lend to, i work with, so its easy to just say "have you finished with that game yet?"

Plus i get a few games back in return, but if I'm finished with the game, then I'm not that fussed.

No way. Call me selfish or whatever you want, but I use to lend out games to friends and family but they would ALWAYS come back scratched, parts missing, or never returned at all. I lend games to my mom and fiance but no one else.

I rarely ever do it. I'll only do it if I'm going to a friend's house and we're all going to play on one console and I'm the one providing the game, because I can just bring it back home when we're done. I don't like to lend games out...
