I do not let people borrow my games because I don't want them to get scratched up or anything.

How about you? Do you let people borrow your games?

I did, until I let someone borrow my Pokemon Crystal and then he moved.... and then I tracked him down and got it back but! IT was rude of him to not give it back!

I keep telling myself not to because usually I don't get them back until months later but since I'm a "yes man" people always find a way to make me feel guilty into saying yes.

It depends what game and also the person I'm lending the game to. I only lend games to people I absolutly trust and I don't lend them often :P

I may have once or twice, but it was only to people I trusted. I would not lend a game to anyone about whom I had any doubts.

As long as they're friends of mine, its really not a big deal for me. Once I had a friend of mine leave 2 tickets for a movie tucked inside a case after having borrowed the game from me which I thought was really sweet. :D

I live in a dormitory setting so yes I do let people borrow games all the time. I always make sure to get them all back at least a few weeks before I leave the dorm though.

Sure. So long as the person is trustworthy. I wouldn't loan a hard to find game, but if it's still available on retail, and you like and trust the person, why not... it's just sitting there on your shelf. And old games that you want to trade in for a measley $5 at Gamestop make terrific Xmas gifts for your friends. (BTW, Can you please not use yellow font next time? It's near unreadable on a white background.)

I would only let people borrow my games if I know them well. If you know the guy is a clean freak, then most likely yea. I do not enjoy to let people borrow if I know they are not playing it. it's like a rent, so there's a time limit to how long you should possess the game. I have a friend who has only played it once and he had it for like the entire month.

No. I don't trust people enough to let them use my games. Especiall since most of the games they ask to play are hard to replaxe if anything happens to them

The only time I let someone borrow a game, it was never returned to me, so because of that, I'll definitely never let anyone borrow a game again.

I let people borrow my games every now and then. I have my God of War on lend at the moment. I guess I'll give him God of War 2 if he likes the first one.

very rarely, and usually as a result of a lapse in judgement.

i've had games "lost' as a result of lending them out...

and i remember lending a game out one time, asking for it back 3 times before eventually going over to his house to look for it.

no wonder he couldn't find it... all his games were out of their cases, and in a scattered pile ON THE FLOOR. I was glad I had only lent him Guitar Hero 80s, because if it was a game I really liked I would have been upset that he could treat something that belonged to someone else that way.

I used to do it all the time, but my generosity was being taken advantage of. Sometimes, I'd get the games back scratched, or sometimes not at all. So now, hardly ever.
