With the way things are going...in 20 years we will all be playing new games with motion controlled nun-chuck drum/guitar waffle iron headsets. I highly doubt i'll still be putting up with it.
Well I have been gaming now for around 20 years so I don't see why I coulden't game for another 20. I remember playing Turbo Grafx 16 around the age of 8 or so. Ever since than I have been hooked. testfactor888Your interest hasn't waned.... at all?
If games are still good yes. But if they keep on getting casual and more casual to the point where sport games and twitchy shooters are all that's left, no.
Been a gamer since i was like 8..Im 41 now..Nothing will change that..Ill be in a senior citizen home an be the rave of all the guys..Ill have some thing to do other than playing checkers, an chess..
I think so...I mean like someone said gaming is a lot like movies and books just a newer medium. I'll still be relatively young in 20 years (35) so unless gaming changes drastically in 20 years (which is possible) and games similar to Kinect and casual Wii games become the overall majority, I see myself gaming in 20 years.
Alot of it depends on the nature of the gaming industry, but as long as there are games that I am interested in I will keep playing. I'm 25 now so I have a few years under my belt already, but my mom, stepdad, and uncle are all in their 40s and still play video games as much as they did when they were young so I don't see myself stopping anytime soon.
Definitely. Even if I didn't like the way gaming becomes in 20 years, I'd still enjoy playing retro games. I'll be a gamer for life.
My grandfather still plays video games, but not nearly as much as he used to. He sometimes likes to play Zelda OOT or Banjo Kazooie on his N64. I'll probably be like him when I'm his age. I'll probably be playing Final Fantasy XL (XL=40 for those who don't know roman numerals.) on my PS7 while everyone else is playing Call of Duty 26 on their PS10s.
Maybe not, my gaming has dropped to like less than 1 hour a week already and I have tons of free time/games right now. Unless there is some awesome turn around in the industry, I might just be retro-gamming once in a while.
My last gaming device might just be the 3DS.
...Maybe...
