because of the hardware limitation?
Yes. The XSX may be 1600P 30 also.
The GPU limit is the easiest wall to hit with these new systems (as it should be). devs are going to make cuts to res and/or framerate to get their other visual requirements running.
It looks like temporal reconstruction (or image reconstruction of some sort) will be a big area of focus for R&D so that the game can render at a lower res but still put out something that looks nigh on as good as 4K native.
My experience with none PS4 backward compatible PS5 games are- Astro Bot: PR, DeSR, and Village. Overall I think they all have a 60FPS option and look pretty good. Are they a constant 60FPS? no, however from what I've read PS5 Village has less issues than all other platforms, at least at launch, so it's doing a great job.
Time will make consoles look less technically impressive to P.C.s that can always get new cards, that's how it goes. Nothing new about it.
Would like moving forward games give a 60FPS option at all times for PS5 regardless. **** 4K honestly!

Interesting technologies is gonna be using in games. I don't care about 4k 60fps, but I'm worried about beautiful textures and high poly running at least in 1440p 30fps!!!
I'm seeing less and less reason for native resolution(4k). Even returnal base res was 1080p upscaled twice and looks really impressive. DLSS looks nearly identical to 4k with half the resources needed(I think, I'm no expert here). Blows my mind though that last gen we had consoles that ran some games in native 4k and many others in upscaled 4k on much weaker hardware but for some reason the newer consoles are still struggling to hit native 4k. The GPU should be 2-3x more powerful than last gen and CPU even more than that. Hopefully this means games are having more effects, reflections, and other eye candy.. which is what I'd prefer over resolution.

I hope for more poligonal density, and this not an exaggerating desire. I mean, Series X is more than 2x more powerful than Xbox One X, and the same about PS5.
Drop resolution and put higher poligonal elements with some ray tracing effects !
