Most of the time I don't like subtitles because I find them distracting. But I needed them in GTAIV because I couldn't understand what most of the people were saying.

Only when I'm playing on one of my consoles. I use headsets when playing PC games so I don't really need to turn on the subtitles & I never use subtitles for movies.

I always do...more from the fact that my hearing is messed up somewhat than anything else.
