I live in Switzerland but only speak english, all games sold here are german versions of the games, so I was wondering if I pick up the german version of the game here, would i be able to select english language from the language selection screen? If there is one.

Wow, that's rough. You might have to import. This is where I'd be taking advantage of PS3's region-freeness.

I think the language is based on where you bought your 360, if you have an NTSC 360 it will be in English if you get the region free version of this game. I might be wrong though, if you have a German console and get the english region free version it might be in english. I don't see any language selection in the game though. I will say this though, the American and Asian versions of this game have no region protection and will play on any 360 console. Hope that helps.

Will play on pal systems.

Normally the games would be in English but sometimes the developers would put the languages acording to where you live. Some games have multiple language selection in Europe, this is mostly with games with E and T American rating because they can be sold in all countires without breaking laws. If the country you live in is strict then they might have cut some things out witch means they might also only have one language. The best thing to do is call the company or ask someone who has the game around you, game stop for example could be helpful. I have that peoblem too, but the guy at a gamestop here in Germany speaks pretty good english so he tells me witch games have it and witch ones don't so I can get them from the US.

Also there may be some retail stores that sell US games, they're rare and most aren't suppose to. Here in Germany we have a Jacobs and they only sell ports from the US if they have been cut, they also sell Pal games in English witch orginally should be in the UK.
