A full HD remake of the original with 30% new content. All hand drawn animation, all voice actors from the cartoon returning.

I already have Duck Tales on NES. I'd MUCH rather see a true sequel released via XBox Live or Wii Ware or something.

If they were gonna do a remake, they should have remade the FAR more expensive and hard to get Duck Tales 2. Duck Tales 1 is a common game.

But nonetheless, this is good news. Maybe it'll garner the series enough attention for them to make a true sequel.

Perhaps they will if this one sells well enough. There would be no point in remaking the sequel if they didn't do the first game, well first.

One of the best 2d platformers I have ever played. It was such a surprise to me as a kid that it would be so good. I was so hooked on FF, Zelda and anyother RPG I could get my hands on, that this game could have easily never got played by me. Thanks to a good friend who made me sit down an try it, I got to beat it over an over.

9/10 game for its merits

10/10 for its music

11/10 for dat nostalgia

So who has a PS3 and got it? What did you think?

I have an XBox 360, so I'll be waiting a while for my copy.

GameSpot seems to hate it. While ScrewAttack (a very retro-oriented site) adores it.

No thanks, I'll stick to my NES cartridge. Developers need to learn to replicate the appeal of these cIassic titles without remaking them outright. I don't want to buy a game I already have. I bought my new systems because I wanted new experiences, not so I could relive my childhood.

4.0 on gamespot, 76 on metacritic. Original 3.0 on supgames, 55 on Yocritic :cool: Heard supgames was playing the remake now.

7 on IGN and 9 on ScrewAttack. If you were a fan of the original game and/or platformers from that time period, you're likely to enjoy it. It's also worth playing through a few times to unlock all the extras. I'd give it an 8 or 8.5 as an "HD remake" that also enhanced more than just graphics, and found it to be worth the budget price.

Well, there's a lot of love for the game, but I absolutely hate it. The game would have been fun, but the constant interruption of shoving a story down my troath that I don´t care about ruins it for me. Play 30 seconds, watch 30 seconds... the entire game :evil:
