Hey,

It's been a while and I have started to upgrade my computer. I received a couple of new games for Christmas.........Call of Duty 4 and Medal of Honor Airborne. I will have a completely new computer built with these games in mind. My question.....somewhere I read that there are games that will not run on any drive except E. Something about copyrights. My present computer has a D drive that is a DVD/CD combination. They will not run here but I think the problem is my video card. I have a RADEON X850 and eventhough it is a more powerful card, the game calls for a X1300 or higher. Is there anyone with some thoughts on this???Thanks for any help you can give me. Maynard

Take your problems over here. You'll get more informed responses, but anyways, I HIGHLY doubt that there are copyright laws that require you have an E:\ Drive. The law you were probably thinking about was that which concerns the use of No-CD cracks and software, which is considered illegal (and a large portion of the community disagrees).

Edit: And when you're there, make sure to post ALL of your specs, otherwise they won't be able to help you.

THANKS. I'm sure that I did read about the E drive when trying to find out about the games. It only said that the game would not run on the D drive. Like I said, I hope they will run after I upgrade my computer with a new video card. Thanks again. Maynard
