I just recently started playing this game and ended up beating it tonight and I remember as a kid seeing it but not knowing much about it. I thought the whole idea behind it was really interesting. The whole concept of evolving and how Gaia helped in the progression reminded me of how creative a lot of the older platform games were. Does anyone else remember this game?

I've never played it, but I remember seeing this game on the shelves of rental stores when I was a kid and thinking it looked cool. I really want a copy now so I can play it, but I'm not willing to fork over nearly $80+ to buy it. Here's hoping I run across a copy at a thrift store or flea market ;)

The concept of this game ist brilliant, but the gameplay feels "unprofessional" especially during the land periods. A remake of this game would be really nice in my opinion.

It's an interesting game but I'm not sure if it's really a "JRPG" in the true sense of the word. I mean, the statistics and stuff is there but you're basically just eating everything you see. It's more of an arcade game with a RPG touch imo.

It's one of my favorite SNES games. The music in the opening levels is so soothing.

Yeah, I don't think I've gotten far, but it's a nice game. A lot better than Spore..
